Mike Donaldson

Author, photographer, and publisher Mike Donaldson is a geologist and bushwalker who has been documenting rock art sites across Australia for more than 30 years, particularly in Western Australia’s Pilbara and Kimberley regions. Dr Mike Donaldson OAM, a retired geologist, is the principal of Wildrocks Publications and he is also the author, photographer, and designer of a series of books featuring Australia’s rock art, particularly covering Burrup Peninsula and the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Publications covering other areas of Australia are in preparation. Mike was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) in 2022 for service to the Indigenous community of Western Australia.
