Tom Johnson is a long time genealogy hobbyist. He holds a Bachelors Degree in History form the University of The State of New York and enjoys reading books on American History, especially the Revolutionary and Civil War periods. He has recently started writing about his family ancestry and has self-published two books on his own family and his wife's family. He has also self-published a book on his two tours to Vietnam with the Brown and Blue water Navy during the late 1960's. He has published one book on his journey to self-publishing and is currently working on a second book on genealogy titled "Genealogy Then and Now" a look at how genealogy was done in the past and how the internet is driving the future of the hobby.-Amazon
