Description
De huidige expositie Sferen toont kunst uit de vijftiende en zestiende eeuw, zeg maar uit de tijd van Jeroen Bosch, als decor voor het werk van Mulders. "Met hem voelt hij zich nauw verbonden. Hij ziet hem als een belangrijke inspiratiebron, bondgenoot bij de verbeelding van het goede en het kwade." Het museum kocht al vroeg religieus werk van Mulders aan. Het werk Pietà (2001) werd zelfs in opdracht van het museum gemaakt. Het glas-in-loodraam Het Laatste Oordeel (2007) in de Sint Jan van 's-Hertogenbosch is geïnspireerd op Jeroen Bosch. Voorstudies zijn opgenomen in de collectie van het museum en worden nu getoond. Exhibition: Museum voor Religieuze Kunst, Uden, The Netherlands (18.09.-18.12.2016).
