Description
The ouroboros, a serpent forever swallowing its own tail, is an ancient alchemical symbol of infinity. As Carl Jung has stated, "The idea of transformation and renewal by means of the serpent is a well-substantiated archetype. It is healing." This leitmotif serves as the foundation for The Ouroboros Project, a body of work built out of discarded metal ducts and connectors. Reappearing to us as serpents, previously unseen components are given new life in an infinite feedback loop of self-construction.
