Essentially what the title says: it covers the genealogy of the descendants of William Russell of Salem, Mass., starting in about 1674. Although various people are mentioned in several generations the author focuses on the particular Russells in his branch of the family tree. Hence, the book may - or may not - be useful to those outside that branch.
