Contemporary art can be a sponge, a mirror, a knife and a tool for understanding existence. With 'Art rings?' invites Maria Lind, curator and writer with a long international career, to meetings with twenty key works from the last twenty years. It is a subjective selection that introduces the art lover to the sharpest art of the new millennium. The works are created by some of the most talked about artists of our time but also by lesser known names. Everyone has something important to say about the time we live in. Lind also describes the themes, methods and contexts that art evokes and confronts and discusses, among other things, economics, technology, climate, inequality and the return of crafts.
