Description

Samuel May Jr. (Writer) tells Samuel J. May (Recipient) that copies of John G. Palfrey?s tract on the inter-state slave trade will be ready soon, and asks Recipient how many copes he would like to have and how he would like them to be delivered to him. He also asks whether Recipient has a copy of Wilson Armistead?s ́Tribute to Negro. ́ He then goes on to talk about the correspondence between their children and his wife?s ailment. He adds at the end of the letter that there are two extra lectures already scheduled at the end of the regular course of antislavery lectures this season that it is not advisable to add Recipient to the program, although they will add him if he desires.
