Description

Countess Rosario Julia Zoubov's art collector's objects are presented in a book written under the direction of art historian Professor Frédéric Elsig. Compiled by the Countess during the first half of the 20th century, this collection is comprised of over 500 objects, most of which are dated to the 18th century and were donated to the canton of Geneva in 1959. These objects, along with the rest of the collection, are displayed to the wider public in the apartments of the Hôtel de Sellon in Geneva. The Zoubov collection consists of antique furniture, paintings, drawings, engravings, art objects and Chinese enamels collected between 1920 and 1950 by the Countess during her various voyages across the world.
