Resolved ... that a committee be appointed to receive any proposals ... for the purchase of the lands belonging to this state lying west of the west line of Pennsylvania ... Now know ye, that we John Treadwell [and seven others] being the committee named ... having formed sundry contracts with divers persons for the sale of said lands ... quit to the said [blank] ... all right, title and interest ...
