Description
Samuel May Jr. writes to William Lloyd Garrison that he had resigned from his position as a general agent of Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society for a health reason. May, however wishes to continue to serve in the American Anti-Slavery Society, unless the Board of Managers of the Mass. Society and the Executive Committee of the American Society decide that the two offices should be united in one.
