Description
Dans un pays en guerre, Adriana, une jeune femme passionnée, tombe enceinte à la suite d'un viol. Sa sœur cherche à la convaincre de ne pas garder l'enfant. Pendant des années, elle se demandera avec angoisse si Yonas, qui porte à la fois le sang de la victime et celui du bourreau, sera Caïn ou Abel. Devenu adulte, le garçon promet de tuer son géniteur. Sa mère le regarde partir sans tenter de l'en dissuader. C'est seulement à son retour qu'elle lui dira: "Cet homme méritait de mourir, mais toi, mon fils, tu ne méritais pas de tuer".
