Dark Lightning

Description

With tattered dreams and a cardboard suitcase, pop singer C.J. Alexander is finally coming home--to Coushatta, Louisiana, to a simpler life ... maybe even to the arms of the only man she ever loved. But single parent Slate Matheson, his pride as broad as his shoulders and as deep as his voice, still condemns her for crimes of the heart she didn't commit. Ten years of silence drive Slate to vent his bitterness on C.J. with unreasoning fury. But the dark lightning of their maddening desire reveals the torment of lovers who lost their way ... and the glory of a passion that can never be destroyed.
