The State temperance committee of Massachusetts, respectfully ask their fellow citizens of this commonwealth, to read carefully the following document. Rev. Mr. Hadley, its author, is a clergyman, and his integrity and veracity is unimpeachable. As will be seen, this paper utterly refutes the statements of John Neal, and others, who are endeavoring to persuade the people of this state that the Maine law is a failure in the state of its birth
