Poiché l’Ufficio federale di statistica (UST) già da tempo rileva, nel quadro della statistica medica degli stabilimenti ospedalieri, dati in questi due ambiti, è stato deciso di modifi- care questa statistica in modo tale da soddisfare anche le esigenze del sistema di forfait per caso di Swiss- DRG. L’UST ha colto le richieste di SwissDRG come occasione per sottoporre a revisione parziale la statistica medica e valutare eventuali altri adattamenti e integrazioni, già da tempo in sospeso.
