La conoscenza dell'opera di Rodolfo Vantini (1792-1856), si arricchisce di un tassello fondamentale. La monografia di Antonio Rapaggi, promossa dall'Associazione Amici dei Musei di Brescia, propone - in 450 pagine illustrate da quasi 600 immagini a colori - una raccolta unica di documenti, architetture e notizie biografiche sul celebre architetto bresciano. Dal 1963, anno del primo studio realizzato da Lionello Costanza Fattori per la Fondazione Ugo Da Como di Lonato, grazie a un sistematico lavoro di ricerca d'archivio sono venuti alla luce più di 800 disegni, un'ampia selezione dei quali è riprodotta nel volume, accanto alle fotografie delle architetture realizzate dal Fotostudio Rapuzzi di Brescia. Sono documentati circa 200 progetti, alcuni inediti, tutti catalogati in forma di scheda e di regesto finale.
