Active trente ans dans le milieu du cinéma, Véronique Marit a été producteur exécutif de la société Dérives, entièrement dédiée au cinéma documentaire, créée en 1977 par Jean-Pierre et Luc Dardenne. Elle n?a pourtant jamais oublié sa passion première pour la photographie : photographe de formation et fille de photographe, elle ramène de ses nombreux voyages (Chine, Zanzibar, Dakar, Cuba...) des souvenirs sur pellicule qu?elle expose régulièrement. Elle collectionne aussi ± depuis toujours ? des photographies amateurs anciennes. Elle a déjà publié, chez Yellow Now, en 2013, 'Avoir un bon copain', en 2015, 'Les Enfants terribles', et, en 2016 'Avoir un bon copain. Les retrouvailles', trois recueils de photographies trouvées.
