Description
In dit boekje gaan we op zoek naar de monding van de Rijn, die in de 12e eeuw onder de Zuidduinen van Noordwijk is verdwenen. De verzanding van de monding zorgde voor een groot probleem: hoe het water uit het achterland, dat niet meer in de Noordzee kon stromen, toch naar de zee kon worden afgevoerd. We ontdekken ook hoe het landschap in de omgeving van Noordwijk uit de zee is ontstaan, waar vroeger mensen hebben gewoond en hoe Holland hier is ontstaan.
