Davis's Royal Amphiteatre, late Astley and Davis, Westminster-Bridge. Easter-Monday, April 8th, 1822, and during the week, at half-past six o'clock precisely. Will be presented an entirely new whimsical, local, melo-dramatic, pantomimical and equestrian drama, in three acts, with new and splendid scenery, machinery, dresses and decorations, founded on a popular production, which has lately engrossed the attention of all London, called "Life in London, or, The Day and Night Scenes of Tom & Jerry!" The music selected and composed by Mr. Lawrence, the scenery painted by Mr. Scranton & assistants, the machinery by Mr. Nall, the properties by Mr. Collet, the dresses by Messrs. Howard & Carthy. The whole of the equestrian arrangements under the immediate superintendance of Mr. Davis. The piece prepared for stage representation by Mr. W. Barrymore ... Immediately after which, the celebrated Mr. Wilson will exhibit his extraordinary evolutions on the tight rope. Equestrian exercises by Mr. Avery, Clown: Mr. O. Brown. The whole to conclude with a new burletta, in one act, to be called, "The Irishman in Naples!" ... Stage-manager, Mr. W. Barrymore.
