Description

Samuel May Jr. writes to J. Miller McKim in reply to McKim?s letter, which presumably discussed McKim?s new role in the National Anti-Slavery Standard. May says he was ́comforted by its tone. ́ May then says he showed Miller?s letter suggesting the fusion of the National Anti-Slavery Standard and the Liberator to other members of American Anti-Slavery Society?s Executive Committee. Finally, May says he will certainly arrange a meeting [of the Executive Committee] with James and Lucretia Mott while the couple is visiting Boston.
