Description

Samuel May Jr. asks William Lloyd Garrison to make a strong appeal on behalf of an unnamed petition in the week?s Liberator. Mays says ́this is the very time to be at work. ́ In the postscript, May asks Garrison if he could make a stop in Cortland [N. Y.?] in his way back to Boston in October to deliver a few speeches. He provides an extract from W. H. Fish?s letter that requests Garrison?s visit to Cortland.
