Description

Samuel May Jr. writes to William Lloyd that Stetson declined to give a speech at the Abington meeting, and that he (May) wrote to Charles Lenox Remond to replace him. May goes on saying that William J. Watkins is a good speaker and should be invited to give a speech, and that James Russell Lowell probably will write a hymn for them. Finally he reports that J. B. Estlin had an attack of paralysis in London.
