Description

Samuel May Jr. (Writer) asks Samuel J. May (Recipient) to look up some facts about the Massachusetts Constitution from a book he once borrowed from Recipient. He then goes on writing about his work in Brooklyn, the Annual Meeting of Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society that he attended in Boston, and the upcoming annual meeting of the Windham County Antislavery Society in Brooklyn. Writer hopes Recipient will attend the May anniversary event [of American Unitarian Association] in Boston, saying that they need to do something about people like Dr. Whitridge who leads the American Unitarian Association to a pro-slavery position. Writer indicates he may not continue in Brooklyn in spite of the recipient?s advice.
