Jahrhundert im Mittelpunkt als vielmehr bislang eher unbeachtete Apekte der Rezeption von Mendelssohns Musik. Analytische Beiträge zu Melodik und Satztechnik, zu kompositorischer Bach-Rezeption und Chormusik werden ergänzt durch Arbeiten zum Verhältnis von Judentum und Christentum in Mendelssohns Oratorien, Richard Strauss?
