California Theatre, Sam'l Colville, lessee and manager. Farewell appearances in San Francisco of the famous Colville Opera Burlesque Company, musical and stage director, Mr. Jesse Williams, stage manager, Mr. Wm. Forrester. Tuesday evening, January 27th, Wednesday matinee, January 28th, also on Thursday evening, January 29th, 1880, for the benefit of the treasurer, Mr. J.T. Maguire; will be presented, an original burlesque, in 2 acts, founded on a famous though somewhat confusing opera, "Ill Treated Il Trovatore, or, The Mother, The Maiden and the Musicianer".
