Samuel May, Jr. writes Francis Jackson Garrison inquiring if Garrison will ask his father if he knows who "wrote (or took down from dictation,)" Sojourner Truth's "Narrative" published in 1850. May additionally inquires as to the author of "A plea for the Slave addressed to all professing Christians in America", and if William Lloyd Garrison has any rememberance of a gentleman named "Fisher" who was the author of "Life of Charles Ball".
