Report of the town convention

The several wards in the town of Boston, having met according to a vote of the town, passed in town meeting, on the second day of January, 1804, made choice of the following delegates to represent them in convention, constituted for "the purpose of considering what alterations in the county and town government may be necessary, and to devise a plan therefor," : --they assembled ... on the 12th day of January, 1804 ... having at various adjournments taken the subject into consideration, agreed on a report and submit the same to the consideration of the town ...
