Description

May says that he has heard Webb's son, Richard, has returned to San Francisco. He tells Webb that he has sent a draft to Sydney Howard Gay. He describes his son Edward's journey to the Pacific coast, mentions the death of a Mrs. Bertody, and says that Wendell Phillips is losing much of his influence.
