Description
Catalogue comprising 74 paintings and drawings over paper and tiles by Alfredo Volpi (b. Italy 1896 - d. Brazil 1988) in small format (30 x 20 cm). The works were produced between 1930 and 1970, are part of the collection of Ladí Biezus. Thirty years ago, civil engineer Ladi Biezus discovered the great passion of his life: the artwork of Alfredo Volpi. Currently the Vice-President of Logos Engenharia Ltda. in the gaucho town of Erechim (Rio Grande do Sul). He settled permanently in São Paulo in 1969. Since then he dedicates himself to seek the most representative works of the artist, whose workshop he attended for more than a decade.
