Description

May sends to Webb a copy of Henry Colman's, "European Life and Manners." He asks Webb if he wants that title or if he wants Colman's "European Agriculture and Rural Economy." May sends a letter from Sydney Howard Gay that describes the Chicago fire. He mentions the visit to Boston of Aleksei Aleksandrovich, Grand Duke of Russia, and tells Webb that his mother has come to visit him.
