Description
Autobiography of Odette Roy Fombrun (1917), Haitian writer and important intellectual. A prolific writer of fiction and non-fiction, she has published textbooks, mystery novels, newspaper and magazine articles. Beginning in 1959, Fombrum went into exile for 27 years. Upon her return to Haiti, she was associated with the drafting of the country's new constitution, the organization Ligue Feminine d'Action Sociale and the founding in 2007 of the Fondation Odette Roy Fombrun.
