Description

Samuel May Jr. (Writer) thanks Samuel J. May (Recipient) for sending a note with references on capital punishment, as well as for a book and a pipe that belonged to Recipient?s recently deceased father. He says both the Worcester County Antislavery Society and himself are excited to have Recipient in April, and that he has been trying to get Adin Ballou to work with them, who would be ́a capital man ́ to promote antislavery causes although being fully occupied at the moment.
