Description
This Village Courts Ordinance of 1976 established Village-level ADR type dynamic justice delivery system for the rural people of Bangladesh. 1976 ordinance has been repealed by the next-generation law the Village Courts Act of 2006 (Act no. XIX of 2006) though the applicable Rules is the earlier one to this date.
