Der Begleitband zur Ausstellung im Lindenmuseum in Stuttgart zeigt die Schönheit, den Reichtum und die Vielfalt myanmarischer Kunst und Kultur. Ein myanmarischer Thron, kostbare Buddhafiguren aus 12 Jahrhunderten und textile Schätze - anhand faszinierender Objekte aus hochkarätigen europäischen Sammlungen vermittelt er einen Eindruck der myanmarischen Gesellschaft, die in allen Lebensbereichen und künstlerischen Ausdrucksformen zutiefst buddhistisch geprägt ist.
