IT will be my endeavour in this set of lectures to gather up the principal points of contrast between Christianity and Islam, the Bible and the Koran; between the religion founded by Jesus Christ and the religion founded by Mahomet-between the book which contains, as the Christian believes, the word of God; and the book which contains, as the Mussul-man no less believes, the words of God conveyed through the mouth of His prophet.
