Samuel May Jr. asks Wendell Philips to arrange his affair as to spend a part of October at the West. This letter is written on a blank page of Marius Racine Robinson?s letter to May. Robin?s letter says that, although William Lloyd Garrison plans to visit [Ohio] in October, they?d better keep the meeting schedule as advertised rather than delaying it. Robins wonders whether Garrison could be accompanied by Wendell Philips to hold a convention in Ohio, and to attend meetings in Michigan, Chicago, and Milwaukie. Regarding May?s suggestion that the [Ohio] Anti-Slavery Society should employ Stebbins as an agent, Robinson says the organization does not have a fund for it, although the committee holds him in high regard.
