Description

In writing to William Lloyd Garrison, Samuel May Jr. says he had forgotten about the Syracuse meeting because he was preoccupied with other events scheduled in the fall. Lucy Stone and Wendell Philips will speak at the Annual Worcester Antislavery Fair, and may be persuaded to go directly to Syracuse from there. May advises against printing a full-length report of the meeting because such reports do not seem to be in great demand. He ends the letter by speculating who is likely to attend the Syracuse meeting and who is not.
